(home of Darlington Rugby Club) and a recent inspection carried out by the Football Association, the Quakers are confident that their first fixture against FC Halifax Town will go ahead on Boxing Day 2016.

The ground-sharing deal at Blackwell Meadows negotiated between the towns rugby and football clubs will help secure the future of both clubs.

Darlington based fencing contractor Rennyco Ltd. were successful in quoting to install 1200mm high pitch protection rail with mesh infill and timber hit and miss vertical perimeter fencing, as part of the works required to bring the grounds up to the standard required by the FA.
