Acting as subcontractor for Hall Construction, Rennyco supplied and installed perimeter fencing, birds mouth railings and a rising arm trafficbarrier for a pumping station (operated by Northumbrian Water) at a new housing development in Shiremoor, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Due to the domestic nature of the location, 2.4m high timber cladding was chosen, this provides a more appealing appearance and combined with the acoustic property of the wood cladding, will help reduce noise from the pumping equipment.

The timber posts normally used with timber cladding were switched for a steel palisade framework which provides far greater strength and durability.

The traffic barrier and birds mouth post a rail provide demarcation for the site, preventing unauthorised vehicle access.
